My WT card to use "What's New"! I used my new SU stamp set "Inspired By Nature" #the grass stamp# and a new technique for me. Michelle Zindorf's brayered silhouette technique.
I actually made a card CASE'ing exactly Michelle's 2-step bird punch silhouette card, but will not be uploading. I then made my own version by making my card vertical and stamping with a different color combo. I also did not use as many layers and made my card into a A2 size card. I will be using this card and technique for my May SU Hostess Club project. I think the girls will love it. I am very pleased with how this card turned out.
BTW, I made 3 main images before I was happy with the results. Also brayering off some of the ink onto scratch paper really results in no or very light lines from the brayer. A little dauber sponging covers up any lines. Be sure and start with your lightest colors. The Night of Navy on the bottom of the card is sponged and not brayered as per Michelle's tutorial.
Enjoy and Thanks a Million Michelle for your inspiration and fantastic tutorials.

Just beautiful, Nancy! I LOVE it done in the blues and think I like the vertical version just as well as horizontal! I'll have to try your idea with the brayer, as I always have lines, even when I start off of the card. Well done my friend! Maybe one of these days we can take one of her classes together!

Wow, this is gorgeous, I love the blue and all your detail. It has been a long time since I have done that brayer shading but it is so much fun. I will have to get mine out and try it some more. TFS

This card is so beautiful and there's something so serene and peaceful about it. Great color choice! I like the nice touch you added at corners too. Great design!
