Oh, dont you just love bertie's comments? What a glammed up polka dotted flat footed ruby booby this is. Geez, I have to admit: i've never typed that word nor ever said it in my entire life. Booby, I mean. There that's the 2nd time ever for me, but your card is beckoning for me to get over my sense of being a lady. I've been wanting to ditch that stuff forever. Thanks so much for adding to my vocabulary, Mudder. I was in need of a major overhaul anyway. Oh, do I ever love this fine creation you've brought to the party this week. Oh my, wont she just be the bell of the ball with all those polka dots and green feet! She'll definitely be well prepared to join us on a glass bottomed boat. I'll wear my slip form my days in Catholic high school where we knew all about those girls that wore patent leather shoes. No, I wont be wearing those either.

Mudder, what is Anne talking about - what about girls who wore patent leather shoes? Patent leather is a bit boring (I don't think that is what she is talking about though) - of course, Ruby is so fancy herself, she may actually need to have some understated shoes.
This is a wonderful creation - definitely one of your best (which is saying a lot! A whole lot!).
What a great teaparty you have planned - they just keep getting better!

As a Catholic school girl I know all about those patent leather shoes.....if anyone is curious, pm me and I'll tell ya the secret on why the nuns wouldn't let us wear them to school......
Anyhoo....MPSSD.....this zany bird just makes my day...how could you look at such a critter and not giggle.....I should be sleeping but here I am at my 'puter just giggling away....and, you, as Queen of Papercrafting, has recreated the pot and made it even BETTAH.......
can't wait for the parteeee to get started......want some of those Mars Bar treets coming across the pond......and don't be letting Bertie get her hands on them cuz then they'll be flung iinstead of tasted.....
Hmmmmm....shoes.......what have I got in my stash.....only I know............lol!!!! Off to check out the 'closet'.......

I don't have a clue what Anne is talking about...and I went to a Catholic school! Anyway, It has been awhile since I have had a chance to play ( I watch my Niece and Nephew during the week and they tire me out) I am so glad I popped in today, I just adore your card, and your creative talent!

My friend, you are so amazing. I just sit in awe each week when I see you create a card that looks exactly like your tea pot. Hope Booby Ruby finds the perfect shoes.

Patent leather shoes - what is Anne on about. I had some at some stage and I loved them, I can remember looking up my grandmother's old 1910 edition of Mrs Beeton's Book of Household Management to see how to look after them.
Now black nail polish, that is way more flighty than patent leather shoes. But flighty is fine for birds, I guess, LOL. And look at that wonderful expression in her eyes, and the lovely polka-dotted ruff. She almost looks as if she were wearing polka-dotted bloomers too - but that seems to have escaped Anne's eagle eye. Wonderful card to send me in to work with a smile on my face.
