This was made using the March Verve stamp release using the stamp sets: "Let it Shine" and "Feel the Sun" stamp sets from Verve. It was made for the following Verve challenges:
Color Challenge (keyword: VSMARSF3) Tag Challenge (keyword: VSMARSF4), Flower Challenge: (Keyword: VSMARSF2) and Recycle Challenge (keyword: VSMARSF5)
I took an old birdhouse candleholder that I had and painted it with some metal paint and then glued on the Basic Grey paper with Zip Dry. I then layered on scalloped strips for the "roofing" and used part of the sun image stamp as a roof border. The sentiment reads: Sunshine and Smiles I love the fact that I can put a real candle in it
Please check out my gallery for more pictures of this project.
Thanks so much for looking!

I first painted a base coat of white metal paint and then painted it in the different colors that would match the papers that I wanted to use. It was fun to see the transformation of an old candleholder into something fresh and fun
