Finally, a day off and a chance to make a card! This is a lose intrepretation of SC 271 (love the skectch) and WT 261. I didn't have anything "really" new, so I took some oldish ribbon I had that is striped with Garden Green, Hollyhock and White Daisy. I wanted to soften the White Daisy so I tried something "new" and sponged the edges of the ribbon with bamboo ink.
The card is done on an A2 base. The largest mat was lightly sponged and thesecond mat was embossed using my cuttlebug folder. Before I cranked it through the machine, I inked the folder with Garden Green so that the paper would pick up some of the color for shading.
I used my Nesties to cut the scallops and the ovals. The main image is heat embossed using Cocoa powder and colored using inks and a waterbrush.
Thanks for looking!
