This travel game is made with a DVD tin (from www.effectuality.com), and extra large magnets (from www.wholesalersusainc.com). I stamped the cover, lined the insides with DSP, and glued tiny strips of card stock to make a grid for Memory and Tic-tac-toe. I then covered the DSP with window sheets to protect the paper grid, and to make the magnets easier to move. The circles are punched with the 1" circle punch and glued to the magnets with Crystal Effects. The DSP is stuck down with sticky strip, and the window sheets with mini glue dots. Holes were punch with a crop-a-dile, and ribbon threaded through to make it a carrying case. This project could be altered for any season and any DSP could be used. (this one is pretty girly)
In case you've forgotten, Memory requires an even number of playing pieces (I used 12 here), all with the same back, and two of each matching front (6 patterns for the fronts). To play tic-tac-toe you can use the memory pieces, but play fronts against backs. I suggest you use a colored cardstock for the backs, and white for the fronts with different colored inks. Here I purposefully made 3 of my 6 patterns flowers, so I could play tic-tac-toe with chicks vs. flowers.
