Had to snag up this adorable kitty from Motivet, which is offered right now as a free digistamp - you can see the original post here and get one too...... Soooooo cute!
I'm sort of new to digital stamps, so I was experimenting a bit - this is printed on some lighter weight watercolor paper, which worked pretty well - the ink moved just a tiny bit in the more detailed areas, but overall I was pretty pleased. I used my waterbrush to paint the image with my reinkers/Shimmerz blend, adding a little more detailed shading with watercolor pencils.
The ribbon feature was a new one on me too, but I had to try it. I started sewing with the ribbon folded over the edge of my card, and every once in a while tucked a fold of ribbon under the foot, and kept on sewing. Kind of fun... something different, anyway. The flower is folded in half and tacked that way with a button sewed at the fold.
I used a sentiment from Heart & Soul Rubber Stamp Co., and my decorative border was done with a Fiskars rotary cutter.
