I needed to make a thank you card for this plumbing company that worked on our house who did such a great job AND sent us a fruit basket! I remember buying this house stamp from A muse years ago because I was inspired by how Julie Ebersole used it. http://papertrufflez.typepad.com/pap...discovery.html
Then as I was trying to think of what papers and colors to use, I looked through her gallery and found this card: http://papertrufflez.typepad.com/pap...c-s-ftl79.html
I really liked how the red and the blue went so well w/ the kraft base card.
So now, I just need a great sketch and I found one over at tracy's sketchy thursday. I flipped it around though. http://eatsleepstamp.typepad.com/tra...ursday-73.html
The background cloud stamp is by Hero Arts and I colored the rest using my copic markers. I drew the tiny little grass by myself
I was happy how it turned out. Not only I made a thank you card, I was inspired and participated in 2 challenges. Thanks to A muse lounge, Julie Ebersole and Tracy Clemente!

What a great take on Tracy's sketch challenge. Such an adorable card. Love the little bird and ladybug. And the house is super cute too! We must have been thinking alike, with the houses! You did an amazing job on this card.

OHHH!!! I love the scallop awning along the top and your grass is perfect! Those are three of my all time A Muse favorites, too! This is darling! And, hey--your design's a TRI-FECTA!!! COOL!!!

Ohh girl what a fantastic card. I'm so sorry you had to go through the whole ordeal with the house. Thank God you had an awesome plumber. I've never heard of one sending a fruit basket. Your card will such a nice Thank You to them. How many times does someone get a handmade card. Never!! Well unless you're a stamper. LOL!! Love this house & trees image, but really love tiny bird & ladybird accents!!!
So glad you played along this week!!
