I was reminded today of how much I love this beautiful image after visiting Susan's (LateBlossom) blog. She asked what set or image most reminds you of Spring. For me, it's this image! Since this card was in my stash and I had not uploaded it to SCS before, I thought I would upload it to my gallery now. The stamp image has been in my collection for quite some time. The colors and the image make me smile. I hope you enjoy it, too.
The ovals were made by tracing around some templates (these particular ovals are larger than Spellbinders) with a silver glitter pen. The image was colored with colored pencils. The bowl was stamped with blue ink on a scrap paper, coated with Versamark ink and heat-embossed with clear embossing powder and cut out. I then drew an oval with the smaller template around the image and cut it out by hand. Chalk was sponged around the edge of the oval and then adhered to the card.
Thanks for taking a look. I hope my card inspires you to stamp something Spring-y
