This weeks color challenge was to incorporate Curry, Artichoke and Grey
I started off with base of grey with a 'bg' made with the plaid wheel on curry.
I took another sheet of curry and printed a background with some stalks from Vinnie Pearce's digital through 2Peas. Sentiment as well. Both 2ndary background and sentiment were matted on artichoke. I added a strip of artichoke that had been punched with the SU eyelet border punch to the 2nd panel and then some gold twine wrapped twice. All panels were sponged around the edges with black since I don't have grey ink.
I finished off with a punched butterfly that had been stamped w/butterfly ittybitty and then sponged; then 3 dots of distressed green stickles.
I do like this combo IRL, but the picture kind of makes the grey and artichoke synonymous.
Thanks for looking.
