We're off to London this week for the premier of Alice in Wonderland. Along with the added dimension of the regular Teapot Tuesday madness.
I'm not good on fancy costumes, and to me the second best Cheshire Cat is Snoopy (is that one a stamp yet?), but da Mudder was worried that 42,000 rabbits might get smooshed in the film, and was encouraging us to bring along some rabbits. Seeing how many there are already, I am sure we will soon have more than we know what to do with! Rabbit stew, anyone?
I thought I should bring along some white ones, so I printed some Chyogami paper from the Canon website. Did you know that in Burma they don't see a man in the moon, they see a rabbit? It's on a 5 3/4" square card, with the edges sponged with Mustard Seed before I added the base.
Penny Black image stamped with Versafine Black, coloured with watercolour pencils, cut and edges sponged. Wrote Hi in navy marker and punched out, sponged the edges.
That's it.
But I hope to make something else inspired by that totally wonderful teapot which reminds me of Barcelona. I am very happy to be back in London this week, I worked there a long time ago and loved it. And I really want to fit in a trip to Blade Rubber Stamps while we are there - any other takers?

Instead of fireworks you have lit up the sky with bunnies. Now this is one premier that won't soon be forgotten! Fun card, interesting facts in your story.

Flying bunnies! How perfect for the mystical, magical quality of the tea party today, Sabrina! I love it! They almost remind me of the nursery rhyme: "The Cow Jumped Over the Moon".
