This week we are celebrating the beautiful gallery of Angella Crockett. What a pleasure to view! I ended up choosing Angella`s first upload ( and what a lovely card it was). Her card can be seen here: SC180 Natural Beauty by angelladcrockett at Splitcoaststampers. I kept the layout she used as well as using the same background stamp and paper piercing of the corners. I changed the colors and the main image. This card will be given to a young lady from Germany. She spent last year living with her Aunt & Uncle (friends of ours) and attending grad 11 at our little school; an exercise in improving her English. Quite a change coming from a large city school in Germany to our little rural school with 96 kids from K -12. I had the opportunity to coach her as she became part of our volleyball team (she had never played volleyball before). This year she and her parents are coming back for graduation. She wanted to a part of it with her former classmates. She in an awesome young lady and a testimonial to her popularity is the fact that the other kids moved their graduation to a later date so she would be able to attend. So although she is not technically graduating as part of the class she will be on stage and celebrating with the others. So this card is a celebration card for Lina.
Enjoy your week Angella, an honor that is very well deserved. TFL

This is so lovely. I love that light sponging of gray on the edges. Your color combo is fantastic. What a wonderful card. TFS :0)
