While traveling last fall I found a craft store with many colors of flower soft, and when I saw the lavendar, my mind immediately went to my SU set Blossoms Abound (ret.) Now, so many months later when I'm wishing for spring, I'm finally getting the picture in my mind put to paper. My dh's reaction? "Wow, they look real!" (The picture I'm afraid just does not do this one justice.) If I had a little lilac spray, I'd spritz them so they'd smell like spring too.
Blossoms Abound is a 2-step stampin' set, so for this card I stamped the first with SU Lavendar Lace, then the second with Flower Soft glue brushed on, followed quickly with the Flower Soft sprinkles over the glue. After drying, I simply brushed the excess off and funneled it back into the container for future use.
Thanks for looking!
