This was the most tricky card I have made! I mixed dye reinkers with Diamond Glaze on the back of a square of acetate, then covered the goo with a piece of tissue paper and left it to dry. The colours were overmixed and had gone muddy, so I tried againÂ… and again! I wanted to use my pear stamp but then, when I finally had gotten a swirl of colour I liked I realised my pear stamp was solid which would hide it all! I hand-drew the pear with a felt tip!

Oh wow Stephanie! What a great technique and awesome image! I love the colors you ended up with. Now I have to try this so thank you for the description of the process. It did make me giggle. I use highly technical terms like 'goo' all the time! Beautiful card - it lets the real art shine.

Now ordinarily, I have a thing about pears (in literature, they symbolize something naughty and usually make me laugh), but this is an absolutely COOL technique with the pear! I didn't laugh at all, just gasped in wonder at the beauty!

Good night! I stamp because I cannot draw! Fabulous card! Pear reminds me of one in an SU set years back. Sold it on the Bay, have missed it ever since!!!
