I seem to be chronically late for the teaparty's lately! But here I am none-the-less! This week we are to bring some color to Abner the Abdominable Snowman because he is sick to death of WHITE! So I'm bringing along some green grass and blue sky - as well as this little penquin guy with his gravity defying Easter Basket. I figured Abner would feel at home with this ice loving creature and wouldn't feel so nervous about all the new colors he was seeing!
This is also for Fran's Doubledog Dare Challenge to us this week - to make a 1-2-3 card - I used one ribbon, two little gems, and three designer papers!

Just perfect for Abner...grass, which I'm sure he's never seen and the little penquin for friendship. I wonder if he would like to take loop-de-loop lessons with the tea partiers. Love your card and adorable image.

darling card. great layers. I used to love doing the gravity defying move when I was young!!! I felt like I was so special that I could do it without anything falling out. what a silly girl I WAS!!! glad you made it to the party. not sure any chocolate is left. I have been needing a lot of chocolate lately and they did have my latest favorite...Reece's peanut butter cups. tfs.
hugs,

I have one last carefully hoarded sheet of that grass paper from a DCWV photo stack someone gave me. I wish our grass had looked like that this morning, instead of being white. And that little penguin with his Easter basket is just so cute.

An Easter basket-totin' penguin.....well, I never have seen this before and it is too cute of an image! What a cute and beautiful Easter card, Julia! I love all the papers, the design, the embellishments....everything! I hope Abner doesn't eat penguins, though; that's got me a little worried....

Fun card - love that penguin and his gravity defying basket (wonder how those eggs stay in there - he must be swinging it very fast). Abner is sure to love having an ice dwelling friend.
