ItÂ’s tea party time again and this week we are visiting CindyÂ’s home state in Silverton, Colorado. Shaun White has cordoned off a section of snow country to practice his snowboarding. Unbeknownst to him, heÂ’s intruded on the stomping grounds of Abner the Abominable Snowman. Rut row! Well, as per usual, Cindy has worked her magic and wheeled a deal so that Shaun can keep his parcel of practice grounds. Turns out Abner hates white, so we are to bring some color to his world this week. Now how easy is that for us stampers?!!! You can find the whole story here and feel free to play along: Forums at Splitcoaststampers.
Now I know we were to bring color, but I didnÂ’t want to overwhelm poor Abner who is accustomed to so much white! When I think snow and winter I think blue. So I brought cool hues of blue today. At least I think that Peggy might like it!
The card: Since it is our fellow teapotter JovialjudiÂ’s special week as Featured Stamper, I cased her gorgeous card here: FS144 Garden Silhouettes by jovialjudi at Splitcoaststampers. I changed the colors, stamp set and added a birthday charm. Thanks for the inspiration, Judi!
The images are embossed on shimmery Ice Gold, sponged and popped up on dimensional.
Have a wonderful day everyone and thanks for taking a peek! PS – I still have some catching up to do commenting on last week’s tea party cards, but I’ll get there!

Don't be looking for Mothermark today! She thought she could handle some triple twist loop-de-loop 360 quad toe pick action and ended up in traction! She asked me to fill in since I have been training for the Evian Water Babies Roller Blade team!
Hey, wassup? That cool blue you are sporting sure looks good against the white of the halfpipe! I love that paisley background...its what the new sponsor wants to put us in for the 2014 Olympics! Did you see Shaun eyeballing it? He thinks he's gonna get my spot on that 2010 team but I hear he only does well in red....they go blue in color and in 2014, its all about me baby!
Oh yeah, Mothermark wanted me to tell you that she thinks this card is gorgeous with its wonderful siloutte flowers. The soft and subtle background and awesome embellishments bring her such happiness in the hospital! Okay, she was saying more as I was leaving but I can't cloud my head when competing....see ya.......and WATCH THIS!

That is such beautiful DP, delicate and pretty. And I know you say those images are embossed, but they almost look debossed from here. One thing for sure, they look great. Blue is not the colour we associate with winter here - think grey. Blue would be so much nicer!!!

I know that Abner will appreciate your subtle approach to tossing him a bit of color ... Sure looks like the current colors outside here in Texas! Tell Abner to beware of snowflakes in Texas today!!

Love these pocket silhouettes and what a way to bring a little color to Abner's life with these awesome blues. I'm sure Jovialjudi is going to love this as a way to honor her, also. Just a beautiful card!!!

How beautiful! You are perhaps right to start with a soft color...and the blue is that! I'm like the bull in the china shop (weren't we there too?), going full blast with RED! Hard to teach an old dog new tricks!! This card is sure to please Peggy, and Judi as FS.......fab case of her card!! Just lovely!!!
