Yay, I finally got the chance to do a challenge (and without having to bribe DS with potato chips!) for the TSC!
Lesley's (Marleygo here on SCS) challenged us to make a b&w card with purple or lavender, using ribbon and we had to stamp our bg. I cheated with the bow, Lesley, and made a knot instead... I won't even lie and say that I attempted a bow, lol!
I've had this card in my favs ever since SmilynStef was the FS in December; Seeing Spots by SmilynStef at Splitcoaststampers, but never got the chance to case it, and I thought Lesley's challenge would give me the perfect oppertunity to make the card that's been floating around in my mind. Instead of using dp, I stamped a paint spatter bg stamp onto white cs, and sponged on black ink, then used a sweet little flourish stamp that came with a Basic Grey Valentine set. I used versamark and purple ep for my flowers, and used a lavender ribbon.
Thanks for the awesome challenge Lesley, and thank you all for looking!

I love your bg paper and it is hard to believe you made it (not that you couldn't of course, but it is so cool). Love the shinny purple embossing too. Wonderful card - don't you love when those ideas float around in your head and come out on paper so well?
