These challenges often spur me into using stamps or other supplies that have sat unused since forever. Today I've inked up a stamp for the first time that must have been gathering dust for 5 years. I have no clue where I got it, but it says "Anita's Stamps" on the side. Likewise, I opened a package of skeleton leaves, and put them to use. Finally, I used some brand new ink spots, direct to paper to create the background- no DP on this card!
I stamped the image on WW CS, colored it with SU markers. Then stamped it again on CS Vellum, debossed it from the back, colored it from the back and the front with SU markers, cut it out, and lined it up on the image below for a lot of dimension and shading. Popped it up very high, tied a bow with narrow gold organdy ribbon. Gave the whole thing a light coating of gold glitter spray (it's there- looks cool, although you can't see it in the scan). Finally I stamped the sentiment, *Thinking of You*, on the inside.
I just love both hummingbirds and poppies, so I was thrilled to find just such a combination to use for today's card.
Thanks for looking! Hope you like it.
Hugggs!
