This is a birthday card for my step-dad.....I struggled quite a bit with it, even though I used four challenges to help with ideas. I used Betty's color challenge plus dessert, Roxie's sketch challenge, Julia's Ways to Use It challenge to use odd numbers, and Wendy's Limited Supply Challenge to incorporate a President...I chose James K. Polk since he helped with the reannexation of Texas into the US.....( I had to find someone southwestern-ish! lol!!) There was no stamping....just some retired dsp from SU out of my stash....perfect for the color challenge! Thanks so much for looking! Have a blessed weekend!!!!!

I love this card for your step-dad. The twill is a fab addition, Angella!

This is a great Lone Star State card!! Love that twill, the star brads, and those great medallions. I enjoyed reading about your card's presidential connection, too!! Great work
