Lois aka Clownmom gave this week's challenge at the StampinB. It is to make a red, white, and blue card but make it non-patriotic. I had fun with this one. Those ladies make gorgeous cards...take a look!
I stamped my Inspired by Nature stamp three times just using the bloom part of the image. (I love that set).
I embossed around one coneflower with an oval nestie and heat embossed the other flowers in white, cut out, and popped over the stamped ones. Used my Martha Stewart bird punch for a border inside and out, embossed the sentiment, added a couple brads, punched corners, and it's finished!

Hey, this is way cool Benz. I have to hand it to you, this is pretty darn creative. I would have never thought to do this.. LOVE your cone flower in the nestie and love the popped up flowers - I love dimensionals--like you didn't know that!! LOL!! And, I'm in love with that bird border punch. I truly do believe you may make it into our VIP Punch Pal Group that includes Isaiah and myself. Once we receive one of each punch in your collection that we don't own, then, and only then, will you become an official member. I'll keep my eyes out for the big package coming from you from the mailman!! LOL!! Great job on your card Benz and love the corner pieces too!! TFS!

Benzi, I love the RED of course, but how clever to have the punched birds in blue. The challenge was no challenge to you, was it????

Awesome punched edge Benz! I can see why Heather and Tooty Fruity are coveting your punches! Love this set too and how creatively you used it!
I just read your comment about sewing. How sweet is that! After Musical Theatre and the options course at school (and at least a month of just playing and trying to find my mojo again) i just might have to learn to use that sewing machine that is still in the box. Ah the inspiration! ( Truth be known, I sweat with intimidation, everytime I look at the sewing machine).
