There once was a bull named Bodacious
Who wanted a place rather spacious.
He headed to France in search of romance,
The display of his wealth ostentatious.
At the neighboring villa,
That smelled like vanilla
He met a feline - she was gorgeous!
Belassiz was her name,
She was such a grande dame.
Her boyfriend Bernarde wore chinchilla.
It was love at first sight,
ThoÂ’ it just wasnÂ’t right
For a cat and a bull to be lovers.
Bernarde was incensed,
"Have you no common sense?
I challenge that bull to a fight!"
For the rest of the story, check out Cindy's glob.

The card: Belassiz was stamped with Versamark on white CS, then clear embossed and cut out. I discovered a new trick - new to me at least. I took a photo of my iris garden and applied a stamp effect to it. I printed it on white CS, colored with Prismacolor pencils and cut out a large bloom. The sentiment was computer generated.
Thanks for looking.

Belassiz is so beautiful!! It's a long time since I've played with effects on photos, but there are times when I've found a photo was the easiest way of playing along with an MMTPT challenge. You've certainly aced it with that iris. Love that ostentatious / bodacious rhyme especially.
I was admiring your beautiful flower and then I read how you produced it and now I am in even more awe over it. Wow!! It's fabulous and so is your coloring!! I wouldn't even know where to start to produce something like this. Loved the poem - what talent! tfs
