I'm multi-challenging again - my card today is for the color challenge, da Mudder's Teapot Challenge, Hostess Joan's Doubledog Dare Challenge to make a get well card, and I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch!
So I'm bringing this lovely day lounger (does this have a more sexy French like-name? I'm thinking it does but my brain isn't finding the word!!) to help decorate Belassiz villa so hopefully Bodacious will win her hand. I added a soft comfy pillow and a matching teapot and cup to make it more versatile!
The sofa is paper pieced and the wood part is colored with a copic.
I can't wait to see all the lovely decorations all you ladies bring with you to villa furnishing/tea party!
ETA: Thanks to everyone who reminded me its a 'chaise lounge' - ya - that's the word !!

Is it Le Sexe Couche? Does that sound like a sexy couch??? I flunked spanish and didn't take french but if I were to teach french that is how I would say sexy couch. If any of the other teapotters know, I will be sure to let you know!
I love this snazzy looking piece of expensive French furniture! Bodacious and Belassiz will be most pleased! Bernarde probably will bring a bean bag...he's going through that fad right now you know!
I love to see you cards at the teaparty! They all rock!

Love all the matching going on here. Your chaise lounge, so glad someone remembered what this thing was called, is paper pieced so nicely along with that floating teapot and cup. Your multi challenge card is fabulous Julia, just fabulous. TFS :0)
