This week, the gang is helping Bodacious the Bull decorate a huge French chateau by bringing some decor items. You can never go wrong with fresh flowers -- they'll draw the eye from less attractive features of the place, especially if you use bright poppies like these. I believe poppies are commonly found in France, so maybe Bodacious can pluck a few more from that 42,000-acre pasture of his.
I tried this week's TLC technique, frosted windows, for this project. (But I goofed on the part where you're supposed to color the underside of the vellum and did it on top -- but my colors went onto the vellum so muted, I'm not sure it made a major difference.)

Now YOU are my little buddy! Anyone that goofs on a technique is special to me, close to my heart!! Giggle! You know....the whole, I can relate to that thing!
Did I tell you that Belassiz's second favorite flowers are poppies? Yep, they are! That's why this card is gonna be Bodacious' ticket to success and keeping everyone's eyes away from the less attractive features like bull pies, is simply genius! Good job on the technique, no matter what!

Weel, you are so right about the fresh flowers. What pretty card too. You know the technique, I did the same, but gee, I love that sparkle you added, all pretty and soft colours. TFS

What a totally beautiful vase of poppies - I'll take it if Bernarde doesn't think it suits his high-falutin' idea of what's in style. And yes, I definitely remember poppies in France. In here they don't grow in the wheat-fields (too much weedkiller, probably), but I have vivid memories still of poppies and deep blue cornflowers in the golden corn.
Elegant and so beautiful, these are.

Oh these poppies are so beautiful and beautifully framed too! The frosted window still looks awesome - I never would have known the difference! These flowers will be awesome in the villa - there is always room for all kind of flowers!
