Click here for Belassiz' background music- she loves cowboys!
Here's funny thing 'bout Love. You know, you can't help who you fall in love with, it just happens... ain't no thinkin' thing. Not many people know this, but Belassiz does. History has it that her love, Bodacious, the World's Most Dangerous 1,800 lb. Charbray Bull (retired from the PBR) has only been ridden 135 times with only 6 cowboys staying on the full 8 seconds! Until Kenny. Komfy Kenny.
Yes sir, Komfy Kenny had a way with women and a way with bulls. Now I ain't gonna mention Kenny's skills with women folk, cause that ain't right...but I sho kin tell ya 'bout them bulls! Kenny would hop on that bull, and ride 'em like horse! (Unless he was a goin' to the mailbox, but that's an entirely different story, ain't it Kenny?) He got that bull to lope, back up, and prance, Yes he did! And he ain't had no saddle either.
Komfy Kenny would put on some good 'ol Trace Adkins, slide up and jump on that bull and whisper in his ear. (Yes, the beginning of the Bull Whisperer). Kenny was a gentle man, so I know he used gentle words. And Bodacious got the idea, and did not put up a fight. You wanna know what Kenny told that 'ol bull? Ok, here goes.....Kenny would whisper, “Bodacious, is this the day I need to stock up on A1? Well, is it boy”? Bodacious shook in his hooves, and he let Kenny ride him all day long. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.
To this day, Belassiz keeps a framed oil painting of Kenny right above the dining room table, and if Bodacious starts acting like a bull in a china closet, all she has to do is shift her eyes toward that picture, and that 'ol bull settles hissef right down. She's one smart cat, huh? Yes m'am, ain't no thinkin thing!
To this day, Bodacious and Belassiz enjoy their 'happily everafter' ending in La Balassiz Toscane!!
Well MudderMark, been another fine week. Sure love to meet you here. Same time next week? Snugs...(you got some splainin' do do about Kenny's 'horse experience' at the mailbox!) Lol!

Perfect table setting for the new villa! Our lovely Belassiz is one clever feline to hang that oil painting as a gentle reminder to Bodacious of the delicacy of his surroundings.

Wow, what an amazing table setting, you have just gone over the top with this one. Love your card. I heard something about that mailbox story and I don't think comfy Kenny was feeling so comfy that day. I am sure this has made the mudder smile today.

Pat, you are TOO MUCH!! I was wandering thru the gallery looking for cards that STOPPED me and, well, I'M STOPPED!! I forgot it was teapot Tuesday and I haven't read the story, but WOW, what a HUMMDINGER you've gone and created (even without a story, but I'm glad to see what comes of inspiration). This is OVER the TOP and BEYOND the MOON for creative points. You are just amazing, lady. Wouldja, just lookit all that hardware--I mean, who HAS all that stuff on hand!!! Obviously, you do and what a treat for the eyes in how you've pulled it all together today. Thanks for the TREAT--I LOVE IT!!!

Rut roh! Comfy Kenny's secret is out and his edge at successful bull riding from the house to the mailbox is sure to be jeopardized! Imagine that, him thinking that the critter he approached the mailbox on was a horse and he thought it was Bodacious! Sorta like the baseball cap on his head, he could have sworn it was a cowboy hat! The only REAL thing was the newspaper and the run-away critter! Giggle!
Pat, you blow me away! You are the WWW Man Queen! Do you hear a hint of jealousy there? Giggle! I will be listening to ole Trace all day! He is so young in that video! This is an amazing card and who'd a thunk you woulda had all these amazing embellies laying around! Belassiz has her bull right where she wants him! Bring on the expensive china, this ain't no breakin' shindig! Off to look at the inside! Hee!

Another fantabulous Western beauty. Not Kenny, I am sure he wouldn't want to be called beautiful - but your card is WOW as well as WWW. Is that real wallpaper - bet Bernarde will want to find your supplier to paper some of the villa with it. This is super-duper gorgeous- but what's the story with the mail-box, Kenny. Do tell!
And that tiny little place setting, with the napkin and goblets, and cutlery! My goodness, makes me think of the little silverware my dad made for my sister's thatched cottage dolls house. Very sophisticated furnishings for a thatched cottage, some of the stuff he made for it, like the four-poster bed and the silverware.
