A card of encouragement for a dear friend who was just diagnosed with a serious illness. She's a wonderful stamper so this one took a while. I was casing the talented Teneale Williams but even then it wasn't exactly done in a snap. I love the softness the watercolor crayons give and the inspirational phrases softly seen by clear embossing with Tres Chic. It wasn't my original design so I can say that I think it is just beautiful. I saw this card in 2008 and I remembered it today to CASE. I stamped Hope in tone on tone and popped it up where it was on the image. All edges are distressed and a little faux stitching gives some additional interest.
Thanks for looking and hug your friend today!

oh, Kathy, this is lovely, soothing, and serene. I love what you did with my favorite unused BG stamp. Your faux stitching and distressed edges remind me of time passing...just like growing a friendship. This is sure to be comforting. (((((hugs)))))

You did a beautiful job on this case, and I am certain your friend will treasure it, and the heart that went into it. Thanks so much for sharing.

I'm always at a loss as to what to say when I see the card is for someone undergoing a great diffictulty. First, my prayer is for your friend and that God will sustain her. Second, your card is beautiful and the disatressed edges and faux sewing are lovely touches.
