this is my card for thursday's ways to use it challenge. we were to pull out our fabrics, burlap or whatever we wanted and have some creative fun mixing textiles with paper for our Ways to Use Textiles challenge.
Since I don't sew I looked through my stash to see what I could possibly use. I found several iron on rayon fabric appliques that I bought on clearance some years ago.
I thought that this would qualify for a textile.
I like the texture on the pear.
I decided to use my pear to make an anniversary card for a good friend.
I knew I had the perfect dsp from su to go along with it. It's from the good morning sunshine collection.
I computer generated the sentiment.

Too cute!! I love how you paired the pears (a great find in your stash!) with the pear DP!! A perfect match (made in pear heaven). What a fun card this will be to give--and receive! Nicely done

Very cute. You know I think I'll start looking at appliques!! This is a great use for them. It just shows us that you never know what we might need for a card!
