I was going to run errands but it started snowing, so I figured I'd give today's challenge a second go-round. I love the idea of using fabric in a card!
I needed a birthday card for my 7-year-old son to give to our neighbor girl and her party is on Saturday. The birthday girl is obsessed with snakes, so I thought this would make a great card for her. I've had this image for a while, but finally got around to inking it up. Anyway, my son should like giving this card, since it isn't too girly.
To make this card I used today's Ways to Use It Challenge: Textiles (WT255) and this week's Sketch SC265. The background is a piece of purple fancy calico. I've always wanted to use it for something but could never quite find the right thing. I stitched it to my card base with my sewing machine.
Thanks for looking!
Emily

I'm sure that both kids will think that your card is absolutely the best. Snakes are not my thing but hey, each to their own, and since she likes snakes this will probably be her favorite card.
