Today's featured stamper is Karen B Barber!! I loved Karen's gallery, and found so many techniques and tricks that I want to try out, so this will most likely not be my first CASE of the week.
Congratulations Karen!! You have inspired me with your beautiful artwork.
This is Karen's card I chose to try: FS113 - BLACK MAGIC FLIPPIN' CASE...... by Karen B Barber at Splitcoaststampers
I wanted a frame to the inside, so I tried it, but really do not know how to mat to make that work. But I did enjoy her technique and stamped my Flourishes boquet on rich razzleberry paper then colored over it with my prisma pencils and highlighted with a white gel pen. The pink mat uses a Victorian cuttlebug folder. The bottom 2 layers are using the MS arch lattice punch.
So: changed colors, stamps, and punches, but kept the ovals, the ribbon, and the pink the same.
Thanks Cindy also for hostessing and thanks for looking!

OMG! Traci...this is so beautiful. Its a gorgeous, so soft and feminine. I love the little border thingy at the bottom as it reminds me of a white lattice garden thingy. Its so beautifully done! You did Karen proud! And you are a good cook! Life is good!
