Here's my card for the bird challenge on Wish Rak. The wish rak item is the whisper white cardstock. The cardstock is cuttlebugged embossed using a chippie to keep a flat rectangular area to stamp on. I colored the image with copics and added two silver brads.
Chippie - sold at a stamping shop in Osseo, MN called "Stamping Mad". It's a piece of thick chipboard with a shape cut out of it that's used with an embossing folder - where the opening is on the chipboard the cardstock doesn't emboss leaving an area that can be stamped on. Not sure if any other company/store makes/sells them or not - just know I found them in my area and like them.
I tried making my own chippies using the chipboard back from a DP pack and it works! I cut with both Sizzix big dies and with the CM oval shape using the red blade! Wahoo!

nice card!
PS I make my own chippies, with the Coluzzle (cutting out the shape I want in the middle of cardboard I salvaged from a pack of paper or something)

Oh, this is so pretty and such a good idea. I need to experiment. I wonder if I could use an already stamped image and "protect" it ? eg - a quarter sheet, stamped, that I get through WishRAK.
