This is the card I made as an acceptance card for the kind invitation to my Nephew's forthcoming christening in April.
The basic design was cased from so many other members cards (Thanks to the hundreds of you!) and I gave it my own take by using my new Martha Stewart punches (courtesy of Santa and my amazing Husband!)
The skirt of the gown was created using patterned vellum in various layers, which had been punched and then curled with a pencil to look like lace.
To finish I used a punched cross, organza ribbon, a satin bow and hand sewed micro pearls across various areas of the dress. This was something completely different for me and I can't tell you just how much I enjoyed making it.
I hope you enjoy having a peek and as ALWAYS "Thanks so much" for doing so, your kindness means more than you know x

Oh My Goodness! Such a beautiful, beautiful card! It's just perfect in every detail - it must have taken ages and a lot of patience - but definitely worth the effort. The layers of vellum and the handsewn pearls are exquisite. This will be a treasured keepsake for many years.
