For Betty's Color Challenge, to use Soft Suede or Close to Cocoa, Bashful Blue, and Ruby Red! I used Close to Cocoa to make the stripes for dessert using Cornish Heritage Farms Ticking Stripe Backgrounder. My Kim Hughes snowman was pieced with the CHF Gingham Backgrounder in OLD SU Bliss Blue which was the closest ink I had to Bashful Blue! I colored the heart with markers to look Ruby Red, but alas, it seems more Real Red like the heart button. Hopefully I won't get the challenge gong...but we don't get many Ruby Red anythings up here in snowy Rochester!!

Those two RED hearts ROCK! Kelly, I love the ticking. The paper piecing is fabulous! What a cute card. If you don't have enough snow in Rochester, I can send you come from MA....it's snowing right now!!! BLEAH!
