I loved Birgit's tutorial when I first saw it. I made a couple of cards using this technique before. I decided to combine it with the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge #22 found here: http://stampinsistersinchrist.blogsp...shua-2415.html
I added a layers of color butterfly in gold. As I was making this house the story of the 3 little pigs was going through my head. I was thinking about how hard the one little pig had to work to make the brick house, but when his time to face the wolf came, he was ready. It also made me think of the parable from the Bible of the 2 men who built their houses, one on sand and one on a firm foundation, and when the storms came the one on the rock was still standing. I hope that when the storms, trials, wolves ... come that my house will still be standing.

All I could see of the title in the thumbs was This Little House of...and for some reason it made me start hearing This Little Light of Mine in my head. The colours you used, and the gold embossing, are just wonderful.
