Here is my LO for this weekends VSBN challenge A. The challenge was inspired by the song You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) by Dead or Alive. The requirements were:
1)To create a circular embellishment (bonus for using a spinner) as the main focal point of your layout. You can make your own (See spinner tutorial below) or use a pre-made from your stash. Using your spinner to tell the story of your photos, or the mood of your layout.
2) Use a large circle some where on your layout( like a record), you can add a circle as background or journal spot, but must be in addition to your spinner.
3) a min. of 3 photos(group)
The compass in the middle of the layout is actually a spinner, it has a bunch of different phrases beginning with N, S, E, or W. The one it's set on currently says "Next to Paradise." I thought that was fitting considering how beautiful the sunset was! I used a large Dimensional Elements circle and inked it in Outdoor Denim as my large circle embellishment, and I definately think I met the photo requirement!
I managed to do this one in 1 hour and 57 minutes, mostly because I'd already had the title stamped and cut out. The park we were camping at is Scenic National Park, so I've been playing with the "Scenic Route" idea for quite a while. I think what took me the longest was putting the foam tape on the letters!
This is the first actual "finished" layout I've ever done, and I think it turned out pretty doggone well! All the layouts I do are for blank books or are part of workshops. This one was actually inspired by a workshop we did at CTMH Regionals since I LOVED what they did with the circle embellishments. But this is the first I've actually put photos in! Thanks for looking, and any feedback is much appreciated!

Wow! I love it all. The large circle with the inside scallops is neat and all your papers go so well together. Love the spinner and also how you did your letters for the title. Great job. Hope you do more for us to see...very inspirational!
