This card is for the Flourishes January release challenge, to feel the love.
To me the pomegranate is a very social fruit. Because of its characteristics, it is usually eaten it with someone else. It takes a long time to eat, so it allows those enjoying it to linger in conversation. I think of the pomegranate as truly representing love and friendship.
The pomegranate from Flourishes Figs & Pomegranates was stamped in More Mustard ink on Choice Ivory CS and colored with Copics. I cut it out and mounted it on Ivory run through the Bigshot with Nestie labels 4 (One pomegranate was cut and popped on a dimensional) and mounted on the larger label in Pink Pirouette. A piece of Melon Mambo CS was embossed with CB Diamonds in the Rough folder, then all were mounted on a Choice Ivory card. Sentiment was stamped in Melon Mambo on Ivory, then ends cut with the Nestie. Opaline Pearls were added to the corners.
Thanks for looking, and see you at the release party tomorrow!
