I've started my Holiday cards for this year, and this is the first one, using my 2 new sets, Wandering Words and Serene Snowflakes. It is for Sketch Challenge 263. I still have no access to cutting or embossing tools, so I cut the oval out by tracing a Christmas ornament, and covered the uneven edges with a thick, shiny rope. Santa's sleigh and reindeer are stamped inside without the sentiment, using StazOn UltraMarine on Glossy White CS.
The snowflakes and Believe sentiment are stamped in Brilliance Moonlight White on Night of Navy CS. The blue panels are mounted on a piece of DP that I thought looked like frosted leaves, although it's hard to see much of it. The big dimensional silver snowflake is from a kit of origami snowflakes.
I've finished it off with some thin, silvery organdy ribbon, and, of course, I had to give this card a heavy coating of spray on glitter!
I hope you like it, and thanks for looking!
Hugggs!

Good for you for starting your cards early! I generally wait until the week before Christmas and then go crazy! Anyhow, this card is incredible! Beautiful work!

Good for you to begin Christmas cards. I always say that I'm going to do that, but then I never do. I was so busy that I didn't even do cards for '09 Christmas. So I'm impressed.
On to your FABULOUS card. I love what you did w/ this sketch. Your rope trim and the gorgous silver snowflake add so much appeal. Gorgouse colors too. Love it.

Lovely job - I know you mentioned earlier you are working with limited supplies available right now. Even when you are improvising the results are beautiful.
