I was elated to see Wendy ~WeeBeeStampin~ selected as FS this week. Her gallery is totally WOW!! Just my style. Her cards were so pretty, there wasn't much I wanted to change.
I do need a birthday card for a young girl, so I thought I would case this card of Wendy's:
I used the same layout and girlie theme, but changed the colors, used a different image, and used an embossing folder.
I used a Sarah Kay image that Stamp Muse sent me~thanks again M~ as it looks a lot like the little girl I'm giving this too. I could not get a good photo, so the colors look washed out unfortunately.
I used a variety of markers, copics and blender pens for the image and sponged the top with bashful blue and the bottom with certainly celery. I sprinkled some glitter on her hat, collar, pants and basket towel because I LOVE sparkle!! It just gives a hint of sparkle throught out th eimage.
I used the circles and dots ef on the top white and bashful blue dsp layer. Added a flower ribbon and rain dot adhesives on the side. My special add on to this was the blue flower at the bottom right hand corner which is from a girl's ponytail holder. I saw a package at the $ store with different colors and thought these would be perfect for cards. I added a greeting and I was done.
I popped up the second panel and the image panel on dimensionals.
It was fun casing from your gallery Wendy. I have plenty more I want to do, but I will see if time allows.
ENJOY your special day.
If you have a chance, let me know what you think.

Pam, such a darling image from M and you made such a sweet, beautiful card with it. I think the flower from the ponytail holder is just perfect. Wonderful ribbon, coloring, dp, dew drops...all just came together beautifully. Hopefully, later this week, I'll get to CASE a card from Wendy's awesome gallery. Couldn't manage it today, unfortunately. I love your card, Pam!
