This is a quick one for today's colour challenge! I went back to school today (teaching rather than learning!!) so don't have much time to play but I always love the colour challenge and these colours looked yummy so I thought I'd try something quick.
I've been inspired recently by Dawn McVey's blog and her lovely ribbon/button combos and stamped background papers so I went in that direction. I only had a VERY small scrap of Handsome Hunter card so I had to work mainly with Celery and Taken with Teal (no in-colors in UK... boo hoo!). I created the background with the So Swirly wheel using HH ink on CC card then layered onto TwT. The top panel was punched with the scallop edge punch then I added 1/4" circles with my teeny scrap of HH card! My touch of pink was a Pretty in Pink button and the pink heart in the image (coloured with markers). The birds were stamped with HH and watercoloured with TwT. I cut them out and popped over a second stamped image. I added faux stitching with a HH marker.
TFL!
