.....Mr. Van as in Gogh......I loved the challenge yesterday so I did it again for the teapot party. We are going to the forest and if you happen to be a teddy bear you were to wear a disguise. To make it easy on you go here to read the complete story. BUT don't forget to come back and read mine. heehee............details.....
I love this bear from Judith Stamps, so I stamped him clear ep and VanGogh colored him using prismacolor markers. Cut him out and dressed him up. After all, he is in disguise. He is coming to the party to "paint" the goings on. Notice his paint brush?
Since he comes from way back in lumberjack country close to where Anne Ryan lives, he wears mighty big boots. I put a tie and hat on him to make him a little more presentable. Hope it worked.
Stamped the lovely as a tree tree on a left over panel of gessoed cs, clear ep then added color with re-inkers.
Put this on a white card that I sponged the edges with vintage photo. Before I popped up Mr. Van on the bg, I splattered some milk chocolate paint. Well, I smell food!.....See Ya!.....TFL :0)
Hi Sis!
P.S. Thanks Sabrina for hosting today and bringing such delicious food and drink!

What fun! Love the boots and I don't have my glasses on right now and at first I thought he was smoking an oddly colored cigar, but I do see that's it's a paintbrush!

Dont you be giving those hideous Lumberjack country boots to Peggy! Yeah, he's definitely lookin' likes he's from my neck of the woods alright. I love those humungous boots, russian spy. You sure created one heck of a fabulous disquise. No one would know who he is if you hadnt gone and given us the 'full' story. At first, I thought his paint brush was a gigantic holiday light bulb. Glad you cleared that up for me.
This is just fabulous, Buttnik. Oh, you're not buttnik, you're the russian spy. I get it now.
