This is why I love the featured stamper challenge: I would never have come up with this card if I had of started from scratch! But thanks to Stef's fabulous card I ended up with something I really like that's completely different from my normal style! Here's Stef's card I chose to case: Soul Deep by SmilynStef at Splitcoaststampers
I kept the general layout, colour scheme and design but changed the stamps, added ribbon and brads as well as piercing and faux stitching. I didn't have any bling like Stef used in her card so I tried silver-embossing some swirls instead. I created the flower by stamping the largest flower from Playful Petals onto white using Choc Chip then stamped the Sanded background over the top (again with Choc Chip) to 'dirty' up the flower a bit. The layers on top are from a smaller flower from the same set stamped on Real Red and Tempting Turquoise. I added highlights with a white gel pen. I challenged myself to go SU only on this one and I'm really pleased with how this turned out!

So glad I came across this this evening - it is just gorgeous!! Love those strong bold colours, and the wonderful layered flower on it's embossed swirl.
