This card was made for my classmate's Preacher. I wanted a masculine feel, but very elegant... I think I achieved my goal.
Recipe-
5x7 Card Blank-Value Pack (AC Moore)
Angel stamp- Stampin Up 'On Angel Wings' (actually one of my most-used stamps)
Happy Birthday script stamp- PSX
Paper leaves- Prima #from a Christmas assortment#
Ribbon- unknown
Green mulberry paper- DCWV #from a Mat stack#
Gold handmade paper- unknown
Stamp-n Stuff 'Detail Gold' embossing powder- Stampendous
other- brad, cream cardstock, embossing heat gun #Marvy Uchida#, Fabri-Tac glue, Office Max glue stick, Colorbox pigment ink pad, tweezer, paper trimmer #X-Acto#
I stamped and embossed the two images on seperate pieces of paper and hid the seam with the ribbon. I used the gluestick to attach the torn mulberry paper to the gold paper, then added flowers, and stamped images. I attached the ribbon to the back of the gold paper using fabri-tac so the glue wouldn't show. I had an ugly orange brad that I heat-embossed gold #held it with the tweezer#, and I attacked that in the corner. Then I glued the entire card front to the base, so the Brad prongs would be hidden.
