This card is for my brother's b-day which is on January 1st - He's a New Year Baby!! He's working on building his home, so I thought this stamp set would be a good one for him.
I'm not totally happy with the tools - I find them hard to make look "real", but I did my best using silver stickles for the silver part of the tools. I used cork board adhesive paper to hang the tools on and added some screw brads and gears. Paper pierced the first layer and added twine to the top. I'm kind of out of the "masculine" mood, but I did the best I could. It's hard to be under the gun right after Christmas with a masculine card at that!!
The tools are popped up on dimensionals as well as the first layer.
Thanks so much for taking the time to look and let me know what you think if you have a chance!

Sweet sister, Pam! I love your card and think you did a splendid job with those tools, adding stickles did the job. Those are great screw brads and gears. So masculine. The corkboard paper is perfecto. You think you had a hard time with this one because you are so used to doing those Christmas cards. I think it is super!

Great work Pamelina Fruitflake... Love the glitzed-up tools... You truly have moved on from making Christmas cards! And I see you've lost your marbles once again - only this time there's obvious proof that you have more than one screw loose! Have a good one Punch Pal...
