This is my card for the Ways to Use It Challenge for today - 12/17/09. I made a Double Pocket Card to hold my recipe. A tutorial can be found here. http://jarfullofjoy.blogspot.com/200...-tutorial.html
The dp is Fancy Pants Designs Happy Holidays. One tag is stamped with SU Peaceful Wishes and another image from the same set is stamped off and stamped over the recipe with CTMH Vineyard Berry. The sentiment on the oval is Inkadinkado Clear Stamps. I love the way it turned out and I only wish I had remembered to get the peanut brittle in the picture.
Here is the recipe:
MICROWAVE PEANUT BRITTLE
1 c sugar,
1/2 c white corn syrup
Microwave on HIGH 4 min in large glass bowl - 8 cup
Stir in 1 c peanuts. Microwave 4 min.
Stir in 1 T butter & 1 t vanilla
Microwave 2 min
Stir in 1 t baking soda
Pour on parchment paper or greased cookie sheet.
If I can do it, anybody can. tfl

I love Judy's double pocket card. Microwave brittle - don't know if I'd dare try it. It sounds yummy, though. I've just finished my corn syrup that DH brought from the States, but I always used our regular golden syrup before, so I am sure that would work. Love your paper - those angular snowflakes are cool.
