Haste makes waste!!! I've been rushing to get these done, take the dog out and get to card club where I will deliver them to my other players.
Here's the recipe:
SantaÂ’s Whisker Cookies
1 cup butter or softened margarine
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cup flour
3/4 cup red or green Marischino cherries cut up
1/2 cup nuts (your choice)
Mix above together and form into logs; roll in coconut. Wrap in wax paper and place in refrigerator overnight or freezer - can save for weeks!
Slice and bake 12 minutes more or less in 375 degree oven.
They are yummy. Off to walk the dog and go play cards - back later to comment and check out the yummy recipes.
