This is my second try for the Tecnique Lovers Challenge for today which was a Beanie Gift Card Holder. The first one was very cute, but had two little ears sticking out - the gift card - which means I did something wrong. I'm not going to try to figure out what. It's beyond me.
I cut my shape a little different and that's probably what went wrong, but I wanted a taller beanie, so it's an oval. I rounded the corners of the bottom piece with my corner punch so it would look rolled.
The flower is a green velvet yoyo that I once had plans for that never materialized. On top of it is a black velvet vintage button. A matching button is at the top and I added CB snowflakes to the hat. Edges are inked. tfl
