I love the crayon resist technique (couldn't resist buying an entire 64-crayon box of white crayons from Crayola.com)! The paper beads were made using 1" x 8-1/2" textweight paper (photocopy paper), stamped and inked the last 1", rolled around a bamboo skewer, the colored end was glued to itself, then rolled in versamark, then dipped into clear embossing powder, heated while rolling the bamboo skewer to keep from melting only one side, dipped in the clear EP again while still warm, heated, dipped in EP again, heated, and again for a total of three (3) coats of clear EP. Let set 2-3 minutes and gently pull bead off skewer.
