This atc is for SeasideRose's techniques swap. My technique is embossing on vellum.
I stamped the birds - you could also use clipart - laid the stamped image then the vellum on a piece of fun foam, then went over the vellum with a stylus - very gently so as not to tear the vellum. First outlined with the smallest ball of the stylus, then used the larger end of a different stylus to fill in the image and make it pop / 3D. Then went over it again with the small stylus to add details - feather lines, eyes, etc. Sometimes I will add even more detail on the popped-out side - you turn the vellum over to face that side up on your project - with white gel pen accents, but I didn't do it here because the birds were so small and delicate.
For the background, I ran the cardstock thru the Cuttlebug, then covered the entire surface with Versamark and heat embossed with a mixture of clear ep and SU's Dazzling Diamonds glitter. Hard to tell from the photo, but it's very shiny and iridescent all over. That panel is popped up on thin foam adhesive to let a little more light under the vellum.
