It's not that it's hard, there are just some live-n-learn tricks that can make it better. First, use a vinyl tape to mask off the area (I used some from the dollar store). Then, make sure you rub the glass with an embossing buddy or a dryer sheet so your EP doesn't stick to everything! Then remember to heat the inside and the outside of the glass so it doesn't shatter in your hands (first hand experience with this)! It takes a long time for the EP to melt on glass and the glass with be really hot so keep oven mitts handy. Then use lots of etching cream. This is no time to be skimpy. When you wash it off, use a scraper (like the Pampered Chef brown thing) or the plastic end of a dish scrubber to help you get off the EP. The results are just too cool in person! TRY IT!
