Here's my card for last week's Sketch Challenge. Forums at Splitcoaststampers At first I wasn't thrilled with it, but it's starting to grow on me. LOL...
I started by using Rox's advice by printing the sketch and cutting out that swirl (Panel 2-b). I used some Snail Adhesive to stick the template to some Sticky Sheets, cut it out and then applied the Sticky Sheet swirl to Whisper White cs. I cut that one out and then applied the pretty gold glitter. From there, the card when together pretty quickly.
I adhered the gold swirl to some Textured Real Red cs and used my Big Shot and Sparkle Die to cut out the two snowflakes from Whisper White cs. You can't tell from the photo, but the snowflakes are glittered up with Frost White Shimmer Paint. I adhered them to the cs and added the rhinestone brads to the centers. The sentiment is a rub-on and then I glued everything to the Whisper White card base.
