Hi! This necklace was made for today's Technique Lover's Challenge: Metal Washer Pendant Necklace.
I used a 2" washer with a 3/4" hole. I traced the washer onto dp and cut out the large circle. Next, I punched the center. The snowflakes were stamped in Burnt Umber and I sponged on Moulin Rouge and Burnt Umber to get some color. I used a VERY thin layer of Alene's Glue to adhere the paper to the washer. Next, I pressed the paper side of the washer onto a VersaMark pad and embossed in Clear. This took 3 times to get a thick coating. The sentiment charm is a Shrinky Dink that I made by stamping in Burnt Umber, punching a 1/4" hole and heating with a Heat Tool. Next, I sponged on Burnt Umber.
I used Swarovski crystals 10K gold findings and some brass charms to complete the necklace.

That is really pretty! I also like the idea of using embossing powder to finish the project rather than waiting 24 hours for the other products to dry.

I think I'll give the UTEE a try. I have no patience for the other way. Mine are sitting on my filing cabinet and I keep getting up to look at them. I love the little snowflake charm.
