I used this weeks Flourishes sketch challenge to make this card for a friend. Her birthday is in December, and she hates getting Christmassy birthday cards. OK, so I used Eskimo Kisses, but I don't think this is too Christmassy.
The base is 5 3/4" square, covered with gold. The next layer has the edges punched with the ticket corner punch. The two strips of DP are both layered on green Bazzill, with the edges sponged with green. I stamped the dog, masked him and stamped the chair. Following a recent tutorial on the Flourishes blog I added stripes to my chair fabric, and coloured with H2Os. I cut it with Labels 1, sponged with green and then sponged the edges with Merlot, then popped it up on foam. Stamped the Hero Arts sentiment and cut it with Double Ended Ribbon tag. Sponged with green, edges with Merlot. I wound olive organza ribbon through it, with both ends of the ribbon coming out on the right, where I tied a knot and used the heat gun to curl it up. I added little gold beads to the ribbon on the left-hand side of the tag. I made a ribbon rose from burgundy organza and stitched some little gold beads into the centre. I added this to the card base, with the curled ends of the green tucked around it for leaves. Added Dew Drops in the punched corners and that was it.
