This started out as an ATC but I liked it so much that I decided to make a card out of it. I was playing around with some techniques I was looking at on
They have some great background techniques. This one uses watercolor paper, paint it with gesso, and before it is dry stick newspaper to it. Pull the newspaper off and let it dry. Then water down acrylic paint and paint it over it. It makes a beautiful background. The rose came off a CD I bought from Joanna Sheen in the UK. I printed it three times, cut out sections and raised them on Pop dots when I attached them.
